Binjusaria Group Diversified into Paper Making Business

“Packaging is a subject which has shot up everyone's agendas. Indians are changing the way they shop and make purchasing decisions; major high street retailers are reducing their use of single-use packaging. There is a fantastic opportunity for a sustainable, renewable and recyclable material like packaging paper to play a leading role in helping consumers, government and industry reach exacting targets that are being set to improve the India's record on – and ultimately ease consumer concern about – packaging” explained by Mr. Shivank Kedia (in photo), Managing Director of Binjusaria Papers Pvt. Ltd.

“We are very glad to have our contribution in 'brown' revolution. Nowadays, Paper is one the lucrative business and Binjusaria group has taken the decision to diversify its wing into Paper business also. We are expected to commercially operate a highly automated 300 TPD (installed) kraft paper manufacturing facility by July 2018. Initially, we have planned to utilise up to 250 TPD capacities and gradually to achieve higher level. Our production will envisage the GSM range between 100 to 250 and 18 to 35 will be BF.” Mr. Kedia said to The Pulp and Paper Times.

Binjusaria was incorporated in the year 1985 with the business objective of manufacturing and selling of M.S. Ingots and Re-rolled products. Binjusaria is today recognised as a leading and reliable supplier of high quality rebars with ISI standards across India.

New paper mill is situated at Shadnagar near to Hyderabad. “India is witnessing the emergence of huge E-commerce platform across and we are hopeful to receive decent return on the investment. We have invested around Rs. 50 Cr. in new paper mill and will provide 400 to 500 direct employments in the region. Our deckle of the machine is 4.21 metre (finished) and speed is designed at 400 m/min”
Binjusaria has put up a highly automated plant with high-end machineries. “We have bought the pulp mill of Kadant and DCS system is from Siemens while Saloni Engineers has supplied the Paper Machine including the Machine frames. We will buy all press roll and dryer from China.

“Paper market in India is very good because as it is biodegradable and it is future of India definitely and E-commerce industry is growing hugely giving a good boost to paper Industry. Kraft is definitely for packaging and people are shifting from plastic to Paper” Mr. Kedia explained.

Binjusaria is eyeing to export the paper. The new unit may keep around 20% of its production for export.
