The idea of an integrated paper mill is rapidly adopting by Indian Paper Mills. From Paper manufacturing to making Corrugation box, bag and other paper products under one roof gives greater price flexibility and choices to end customers. “Certainly, if you hold the entire product supply chain, you can save some margin, which is supposed to be given to third party. In-house consumption of final finished products, and creditability of a paper mill for producing quality Kraft paper become a bonanza offer for Corrugated products' consumer,” explained by Mr. Dinesh Goyal, Managing Director of Ramaa Shyama Papers Pvt. Ltd.  

“Yes we are planning to enhance our production capacity by putting up a new machine of 150 TPD. Currently, we are producing 180 TPD kraft paper of 120 to 220 GSM. A new paper machine of 150 TPD, to be installed in same premises and is expected to start the commercial production by the end of 2019. New machine will retain same GSM and BF range of old machine,” Mr. Goyal said.   

Ramaa Shyama is expected to incur of Rs. 60 Cr. for the installation of new machine. “Our machine will be procured from China and India from hybrid supplier and it will be completely automatic. The deckle of machine will be 4.15 meters and speed is designed at 300 m/min,”

A New Corrugation Line 

Ramaa Shyama is also investing Rs. 15 Cr. in 100 TPD automatic corrugation line.

“The Packaging Industry is growing at a fast pace all across the India. The Packaging Industry needs good and high quality products, to be made from High RCT paper. It is an advantage for a paper mill to install a corrugation line simultaneously and grab the maximum profit,” Mr. Goyal told.

“Yes, we are installing a corrugation line in our paper mill to consume our finished paper production in-house up to some extent. We will make boxes for high end application and we are purchasing the machine from China,”

Ramaa Shyama Papers Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated in August 2nd, 1995 as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act, 1956. The Company came into production in 1999.

The Company manufacturers Waste paper based Kraft Paper which finds its use in the packaging Industry especially Corrugated Boxes and for other packaging requirements. The special feature of its Kraft paper is its strength to bear the load which makes it most suitable for Packaging application.
