“We are more conscious of the environment today than ever before and a brand that reflects the growing concerns for the planet can strike a chord with many of the potential and existing customers. Integrating kraft paper products into your brand identity would be a strong way to put across the message to the world. A kraft process creates the least amount of chemical waste while producing kraft paper products as compared to other paper production processes.
Also, multiple manufacturing purposes use these by-products. The most important reason for kraft products to be environmentally friendly is the fact that it is 100% recyclable,†explained by Moh. Nooruddin, Director at Dev Bhoomi Pulp & Paper Pvt. Ltd.
Incorporated in 2014, Dev Bhoomi had witnessed many ups and downs since its inception, “Yes we took over this environment-friendly infrastructure from the previous owner and started the production from March 2018. We are in the consultation process with our advisers for increasing the capacity of the plant. We are expected to add more 20 to 30 Tonnes per day capacity in the existing 40 TPD. Any decision on capacity enhancement will be informed accordingly,†Mr. Nooruddin said.

Situated at Village Ibrahimpur Jwalapur, Uttarakhand, Dev Bhoomi Paper Mills Private Limited is manufacturing quality paper and board by recycling of waste paper as the feedstock for domestic consumption. Although paper is traditionally identified with reading and writing, communication has now been replaced by packaging as the single largest category of paper use at 41% of all paper used.
“We are manufacturing kraft paper for box making in 100 to 120 GSM range with 14 BF. Our machine deckle is 2.2 meter and speed is set around at 150 m/min.†Mr. Nooruddin informed.
Dev Bhoomi is selling the paper in the domestic market at Rs 23 and 24 per Kg. and employing around 70 to 80 people.
