Paswara Papers' Mega Expansion Adding 1,40,000 MT Capacity In Two Phases

If we believe so, the internal policy of the centre government is to implement guidelines for e-commerce companies, to replace their packaging material with sustainable and recyclable products in the next 2 to 3 years. Paper will be the first choice for recyclable packaging thus the demand for Kraft paper skyrocket. “The growing environmental concerns to use recyclable and degradable packages have led to a rise in the demand for Kraft papers. Kraft papers have a rising trend of manufacturing it through natural recycling which has though lesser strength than virgin natural kraft paper, but it is more eco-friendly and still has enough strength to fill void applications. The growing packaging industry and paper industry is largely driving the growth of the global kraft paper market,” explained by Mr. Vinod Kumar, Director of Paswara Papers Limited.

“Yes, we intend to pump Rs. 400 crore for mega expansion spree. Currently, we are operating at 1,25,000 MT capacity, aiming it to bring on 2,65,000 MT per annum. The additional 1,40,000 MT capacity will be deployed in two phases,” Mr. Vinod said.

Paswara Papers intends to produce new products by establishing Multiple separate new manufacturing lines for producing an additional 1,40,000 MT  M.G. Kraft Paper, Kraft Board, High RCT Multi Layer Kraft Paper, Test Liner per annum.

Mr. Vinod further revealed that the “first phase of the project with a capital investment of Rs. 115 Cr. will commence production in October 2019 & the production of the second phase is expected to commence in 2021. The Hon'ble minister Shri Satish Mahana took a round of complete plant & machinery, captive power plant, ETP. & deliberated various issues concerning the company,”

The Hon'ble Minister praised the efforts of Paswara Papers Ltd. for making huge Investments which will help Industrialization & Employment Generation in western U.P. & also will generate Revenue for State & Central Govt.
