Premier Paper House Revives Old Paper Mill of Writing & Printing Paper

The boom in the Paper industry is not only motivating paper mills to expand but also inciting paper traders to be the paper manufacturer. Good prevailed network of paper selling and flourished experience have a good backdrop to start a paper mill. “In the coming scenario, you will see more paper traders are becoming paper mill owners. The backward integration of paper business, will surely surplus more margin to your business as well product portfolio,” explained by Mr. Ankit Modi, Director of Newly started paper mill.

Situated at Titlagarh, District Balangir, Premier Paper took over old paper mill Spaa Straw Board Industries Pvt. Ltd, after being declared defaulted by Bank, Spaa Straw Board has been revived after eight years. “India is phasing with moderate growth in writing and printing (W&P) paper segment, we took Spaa Straw from a bank after clearing all the financial compliances. It has already W & P capacity of 45 TPD. We have invested Rs. 12 to 13 Crore to revive the paper mill,” Mr. Modi said.

Premier Paper will produce waste paper-based W & P paper in between 44 to 90 GSM with 74 to 75 percent brightness. The finished deckle of the machine is 2.1 meter and speed is designed at 250 m/min.

“We have preformed the overhauling process of plant and machinery, and installed some critical equipment like Boiler from Cheema Boiler, Press roll, grinder, and motors etc. We have already 45 TPD pulp mill capacity installed in the mill, but we will produce 30 TPD paper and after one year, will explore the full capacity of pulp mill,” Mr. Modi informed.

The 30 TPD writing printing paper will be used for Notebook, Stationery and Government Press. “We have 30 years experience of Paper Trading and it won't be difficult for us to sell the production. We have been representing India's top paper mills and have a long-term relationship with all of them” Mr. Modi said.

Mr. Modi further said that “we will add more 15 TPD in production capacity after one year and, later we are planning to add a new machine of Writing and Printing paper of 50 to 60 TPD,”
