Shri Hari Krishna Papers to install IV Paper Machine of Writing Printing Paper

The demand drivers and growth triggers have come from a combination of factors such as rising income levels, growing per capita expenditure, rapid urbanisation and a larger proportion of earning population which is expected to lead consumption and there is enormous potential for the paper industry in the country.

“We want to be the part of this 'rise' in paper consumption. Indians are repeatedly changing their perception that paper is not hazardous to environment - thus allowing more paper use in their life creatively and commercially. To cater the demand of Writing and Printing paper, we have decided to undergo the installation process of fourth paper machine in Shri Hari Krishna Papers Pvt Ltd an associate paper mill of GVG Paper Mills Pvt Ltd.” informed by Mr. Anish Amarnath, joint Managing Director of GVG Paper Mills to The Pulp and Paper Times.

Printing and Writing segment demand is expected to grow at a CAGR of 4.2% and reach 5.3 million tonnes in FY19. The demand is expected to grow on account of an anticipated pick-up from the education sector with improving literacy rates and growing enrolment as well as increasing number of schools and colleges.

“Yes, we are going to invest Rs. 40 Cr. in putting up fourth Paper machine of 100 TPD capacity. We are expected to start the commercial operation on this machine by march 2019 aiming to produce 45 to 90 GSM writing & printing paper from recycled fibre with 80% brightness level. Currently, Shri Krishna Papers is manufacturing 130 Tonnes-per-day paper combining WPP, Newsprint and Tissue on three machines.” Mr. Amarnath said.

We have inducted Peer Paper Machine to supply the plant & machinery with machine's deckle 2.9 metre (finished) and speed is to be designed at 650 m/m. we will be importing dryers from chine.

Shri Hari Krishna will be providing employment around 100 people in the region. Also the forthcoming production of paper will be export and local sale in 40:60 ratio.
