Satia Industries expects INR 600 Crores additional revenue from PM-4 in FY 22-23

Q: What grades of paper Satia Industries Limited (SIL) will manufacture on PM4
SIL will make superior quality paper on PM4 in times to come equivalent to A grade mills once the paper quality in all respects is stablised over the next 2-3 months. Then we shall be making SS Maplitho, Copier, and low GSM surface sized paper too. Company plans to introduce Carry bag paper, wedding base paper and other similar products on this machine.
Q: Capacity & Deckle of the new machine?
PM4 has a deckle of 330 cm and has capacity to make 300 ton paper per day.
Q: What new manufacturing standards Satia Industries will set in its expansion?
SIL expansion plans involve upgrading both our agro and wood pulping with latest technology installing DD washer for pulp washing and DDS in wood pulping achieving lowest standard of chemical and steam consumption alongwith doubling of pulp production. Paper machine has all the latest features to make quality paper with least energy and highest standards of paper characteristics.
Q: A quick review of the current market condition, especially the high-end surface-sized printing and photocopying paper.
There has been a clear shift in the market to buy quality paper even for exercise books and textbooks and with the adoption of the latest technology in the printing industry - demand for SS Maplitho paper for high end multi colour printing is increasing day by day. Copier paper demand in India is already increasing at the highest rate of almost 8-9% amongst all segments of writing and printing paper.
Q: How much additional revenue SIL is expecting from the new machine in FY 21-22, and 22-23?
We expect an additional revenue of Rs 50-60 crore minimum in f.y. 22 and 600 cr plus in fy 23.
Q: What is SIL's total turnover target till March 2022?
INR 880 -900 cr
Q: Orders in Hand on the new machine?
Our current order book for existing capacity is over 25000 tons and we are fully booked for Feb. 2022 for the new machine as well. Further booking is presently on hold looking to the volatile market conditions presently.
