Nagmati Papers Successfully Rolls Out Kraft Paper Reel; Achieved 170 TPD Production

Corrugated boxes are widely utilized in the packaging of food and beverages, chemicals, glassware and ceramics, paper, electronics, textiles, personal care, and household products. The growth in these end-use industries has propelled the demand for corrugated boxes worldwide. Moreover, the e-commerce industry is experiencing strong growth on account of the convenience offered by online shopping such as free shipping options, and hassle-free delivery and return policies. 

"The kraft paper market features an increasingly dynamic landscape. Several players are focused on constantly unveiling new packaging solutions made from the kraft process. Numerous players are focusing on sustainable packaging solutions made from kraft paper and investing in research and development activities to gain a competitive edge over their rivals in the kraft paper market," exclusively explained by Mr. Bipinbhai Barasara, Partner of newly started paper mill Nagmati Papers LLP to The Pulp and Paper Times.

"We are very feeling proud to have contributed in cleaning India by recycling the paper. Our hard work reaps in the shape of successful achievement of quality kraft paper in one go. We are expected to touch 170 TPD paper production very soon," Mr. Barasara said.

Situated at taluka Wankaner, Dist. Morbi, Nagmati Papers rolled out its first reel on 9 Dec 2019. The new paper mill is open for both the domestic and export markets to sell its products. Kraft paper will be used for corrugation box making and paper bag purposes.

"We have double wire machine producing paper of 120 to 300 GSM with BF 16 to 30. The deckle of the machine is 3750 mm (finished) and speed is designed at 300 m/min," Mr. Barasara informed.

Nagmati Paper sourced all the Plant and machinery from JMC Paper Tech. “It was a very satisfactory journey with JMC while installation of the project. JMC understood our need of production and accordingly design the project. All the critical components were manufactured in JMC’s workshop with high standards,” Mr. Bipin said.

The Pulp mill section has been bought from Parason Machinery. “We have chosen the best manufacturer in pulp mill section i.e Parason, they do research and development on their products to minimize the error. We want quality products that can only be achieved through engaging the best suppliers,” Mr. Bipin described.
